This plugin allows the user to rebuild a parameterized build without entering the parameters again.

Usage

Once you installed this plugin whenever you execute a parameterized build you will get a rebuild button in the left pane of the run as shown in the image. If you want to execute the build with same parameters, rebuild plug-in will allow you to execute it by just a click.

How to rebuild

Steps to rebuild

  1. Select the run of the job which you want to rerun.
  2. There will be a rebuild button as shown in the image
  3. Click on the Rebuild link. A new build with exactly the same set of parameters will start.

Change Log

Version 1.5 (not yet released)

  • Reworked the way to select types of parameters which prevent the Rebuild action to be available on builds
  • Fixed NPE when a job has no parameter

Version 1.4 (Sep 15, 2010)

  • Disabling the rebuild option while selecting Run and File parameters is implemented

Version 1.1 (Jul 16, 2010)

I've installed it, but I'm not seeing the rebuild icon. Is there any specific version of Hudson needed (we're on 1.364 still) or is there a anything I need to configure at the server or project level to activate it?

Does this include SCM parameters for example the perforce change-list / subversion change list ?

Or does this only record parameters passed to the build on the latest code ?

    Hi,

I've installed this plug-in (1.4 release) on Hudson 2.1.2 version. Despite several restarts and even undeploy/deploy, the rebuild link is not appearing.

The plug-in does show up in the Installed Plug-ins list.

Please can you let me know if I missed anything.

    Thanks-

    Ashish
